Position Details:

Medical Assistant ​- Mercy Clinic Southfork Urology

Location: 12700 Southfork Rd. St. Louis, MO 63128

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hours/week)
No weekends or holidays

Key Responsibilities

·Room patients, vital signs Assists with procedures, EKG

·Instrument maintenance and prep

·Stock exam rooms

·Documentation, scanning

·Point of care testing

·Basic in basket and refills

·Communicate with physician or APP

·Follow protected information policy, follow OSHA standards

·Adopt PPE and Quality/Safety Policies

·Medication reconciliation, injection administration

·Schedule appointments, medical record releases

·Diagnostic and ancillary order entry

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent

  • Education Preferred: Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program

  • Experience Preferred: One year of applicable patient care experience or applicable medical office experience as defined by the clinic

  • New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training

  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical setting

  • Comfort working in electronic health records (EHR) systems
