Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Psychiatrist to join our team in the healthcare industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Psychiatrist to deliver high-quality psychiatric care to a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a passion for clinical care and a talent for connecting with patients. Responsibilities: 1. Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to establish diagnoses and develop individualized care plans. 2. Provide high-quality, patient-centered, evidence-based psychiatric care, including psychopharmacological treatment. 3. Perform crisis intervention and stabilization for patients in acute distress. 4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated healthcare and ensure continuity of care. 5. Conduct diagnostic assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary. 6. Provide mental health treatment and substance use disorder services, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities. 7. Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and treatment options, fostering their active participation in care. 8. Coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transition between different levels of care and integration of physical and mental health services. 9. Utilize your expertise in population health to contribute to the development and implementation of innovative strategies for patient care. 10. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards of practice.
Qualifications: 1. Medical degree from an accredited institution and completion of a psychiatric residency program. 2. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry. 3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical psychiatry, with demonstrated expertise in the required skill set. 4. Proficiency in psychiatric evaluations, behavioral health, psychopharmacology, crisis intervention, integrated healthcare, diagnostic assessment, collaborative care, mental health treatment, substance use disorders, patient education, care coordination, and population health. 5. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. 6. Strong commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for improving the health and wellbeing of diverse populations. 7. Current, unrestricted license to practice psychiatry in the state. 8. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to the highest standards of medical ethics. 9. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. 10. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advances in psychiatry.
